Privacy Policy
Last updated: 07/16/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Strategic DX, Inc. ("Strategic DX", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the FixedOps Automation platform, website, and related services available at or through sdxfoa.com and any successor domains ("FOA"). This Privacy Policy does not apply to warranty.sdxfoa.com, which is governed by its own terms and policies.
FOA is a business-to-business application provided solely for business and professional use by authorized personnel of Strategic DX's contracted clients and service providers ("Clients"), and by other users whose access has been authorized by a Client or by Strategic DX. FOA is not intended for, offered to, or directed at consumers, vehicle owners, or the general public.
1. Account Information vs. Client Data
Account information. For the information of the individuals who use FOA (such as name, work email, and role), Strategic DX determines how that information is handled, as described in this Privacy Policy.
Client Data. For data that you or a Client submits to or generates through FOA ("Client Data") — which may include information relating to a Client's own end customers or vehicles, such as warranty records, repair orders, or VINs — Strategic DX acts solely as a service provider processing that data on the Client's behalf. The Client is responsible for that data and for its own privacy notices and obligations to its end customers. If you are an end customer of a Client, please direct any privacy request to that Client; we will refer such requests to the applicable Client and assist as required by law.
2. Information We Collect
Account information. Name, work email address, role and permissions, assigned organizations, and authentication identifiers, collected when you are provisioned or sign in.
Client Data you submit. We collect and process the business records and other content that users submit to or generate through FOA, which may include information relating to a Client's end customers or vehicles, as described in Section 1.
Usage data. Information collected automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, operating system, pages and features accessed, access times, and diagnostic and error data. Our monitoring tools collect performance and error metrics in aggregate form.
Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate, secure, and authenticate FOA, and functional cookies that remember your preferences. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but parts of FOA may not function without them. FOA does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to: provide, operate, maintain, secure, and support FOA; authenticate users and administer accounts, roles, and permissions; communicate with users about FOA, including service, security, and administrative messages; monitor, analyze, and improve FOA, including its features, performance, reliability, and security; enforce our Terms of Use and other agreements and protect our rights, property, and users; comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests; and create and use aggregated and de-identified data.
We may de-identify and aggregate information so it no longer identifies any individual or Client and use it to operate, secure, analyze, and improve FOA. We maintain and use de-identified data only in de-identified form and do not attempt to re-identify it, except as permitted by law to test whether our de-identification is effective. We do not sell or mine data entered into FOA, and we do not use Client Data for any purpose other than providing, supporting, and improving FOA, except as permitted by our agreement with the applicable Client.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only: with contractors that perform services on our behalf (including but not limited to cloud hosting, authentication, and performance monitoring) under obligations to protect it; with the Client on whose behalf a user acts or that authorized a user's access, and with the dealers, service centers, and third-party administrators necessary to deliver FOA; with our corporate affiliates, who must honor this Privacy Policy; in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets; and when we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or necessary to enforce our agreements, protect rights, property, or safety, or detect or prevent fraud or security issues.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Retention and Security
We retain information as long as necessary to provide FOA, operate our business, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it. Client Data is retained and deleted in accordance with our agreement with the applicable Client. Aggregated and de-identified data is retained only in that form and used only for the purposes described in Section 3; because it cannot be linked to any individual or Client, it is governed by those form and purpose limits rather than by a fixed retention period.
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. As is true of all software and systems, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you reside, you may have rights under applicable law regarding information for which Strategic DX is the responsible business — including the right to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
To exercise a right, email us at sdxfoainquiry@strategic-dx.com. We may need to verify your identity, and you may designate an authorized agent where permitted by law. We will respond as required by applicable law. For information contained in Client Data, please direct requests to the applicable Client, and we will assist that Client as required by law.
7. Children
FOA is intended only for business use by individuals at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
8. Third-Party Links
FOA may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party site.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the updated version on this page and revising the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of FOA after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
